Changing the way we look at this socio-economic issue, from the perception of helplessness and destitution to one of choice, learning and achieving goals.

Education is the key to making poverty history. We hope to act as a reminder that:

- Resources are available to escape, prevent and avoid poverty.

- People can make proper, practical and rational decisions to alleviate their plight.

- People should never expect economic change to start from the top.

- Political and business leaders have a social responsibility to guide and direct people away from poverty.

"Everyone has the right to freedom and self-determination, but they should hold themselves accountable for the duties of education and the responsibilities of wealth accumulation."

Pledge to End Poverty

It ends with me – people who do not have enough food to eat.

It ends with me – people who do not have a decent place to live in or a place they can call home.

It ends with me – children and minors who do not have access to basic nutrition, education, and health care.

It ends with me –  physically - and mentally-disabled people who are deprived of a decent way of living.

It ends with me – the exploitation of the masses and workers of the world.

It ends with me, so those who would come after me will not be poor.

I take this as a personal duty and a responsibility to society.

I vow to create more wealth to be used to help myself the best way I can.

The wealth I create must not make other people poor, or deprive them of their decency and, at the very least, the basic necessities of life.

I pledge to end poverty in this world.

Poverty ends with me.
